Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Advanced Nurse Practitioners can treat many things for which you would normally see a doctor, for example sickness and diarrhoea, throat and chest infections, sinusitis, earache, backache, constipation etc. They are qualified to prescribe and triage calls to ascertain whether you can be seen by her or require an urgent GP appointment.
Practice Nurses
Our practice nurses assist the doctors with chronic disease management like asthma, diabetes and heart disease. They are also involved in family planning, travel medicine and well people clinics. They are available every day by appointment.
Pharmacist
Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner

Primary Care Mental Health Nurse

Reception
Our staff behind the reception desk will assist you in making emergency and routine appointments to see your doctor, undertake repeat prescriptions, answer questions and offer help at all times. It is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients’ records is maintained at the highest level by all staff. Community Nurses
Liz Laing, Ashleen Wright, Shiona Letham and Susan Lynagh are our community nurses who provide nursing care to patients who are housebound or unable to attend the surgery. They can be contacted on 01324 717920.
Community Midwives (Larch Team)
The midwifery team look after expectant mothers in our antenatal clinics and also care for mother and baby when at home after delivery. They can be contacted by telephone (01324 566000) at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
